What's going on in the Canary Islands?
We create awareness about conservation issues, empower grass-roots initiatives and prepare students and future ecologists, researchers and rangers to work effectively in the field.

On another level, we help to improve interpersonal communication, teach how to approach communities and negotiate with partners.

We offer training, lectures and creative workshops for the planning and implementation of research projects and for community participation:
-
General introduction to biodiversity, ecosystem services and sustainable land use/wildlife management
-
Wildlife species assessment, tracking and monitoring
-
Mapping and identification of vegetation and habitats
-
Field equipment and technologies (camera traps, GPS, drones, mobile apps, GIS, Earth Ranger, etc.)
-
Proposal and report writing
